Pokeball Cake.

For my son's Pokemon party I was really out of ideas for the cake. So my friend Leslie, who I call my other brain, showed me some pictures of a cupcake cake. That was a great idea. She helped me with the baking, which was great.
Then it was just a lot of pipping.
To make the black stripe, I used some black candy balls from Party City, because there were no black frosting or black food coloring available.
The kids were very happy with the cake.
And serving was very easy.
Mission accomplished, until the next party.

Pokemon Party Preparations- Mega Blastoise

It has been a while that my son had a birthday party. Now that he is turning 10, we are preparing a nice party, a Pokemon party.
He likes a Pokemon called Mega Blastoise, so I did my best to make this turtle like creature. First molding in aluminum foil, then covering with white clay.
And I used acrylic paint.
The weapons were made of paper.
Now that he is ready, I realized it is too heavy to sit on top of a cake.
I still have a couple of days to figure out where to put him.
Now, to the next project.
