Donate Pajamas this Holidays.

I don't consider myself a very good seamstress, but one thing I adventure to sew are pajama pants.
The fabric, flannel, is easy to work with. The pants I made are not very detailed, and nobody else will see if you make a few mistakes.
I found easy to take the pattern using pants that we already had at home. I followed the instructions I saw on Simply Modern Mom (click on the link, and you can see the pictures step by step).

The fabrics were from Joann fabric store, very inexpensive and super cute.

My kids got a pair each, and we also sent pajamas for the pajama drive sponsored by Scholastics Book Club, in our school. Plus Carter's will match the donation.
They are both supporting PajamaProgram.org, a non- profit organization that provides new books and new pajamas to children in need.
It is a good time to help, and a way that I think I can help.
To make the top part of the pajamas, I bought a soft T-shirt, and cut a little pocket using the same fabric.

And using the leftover fabric, I could even make some scarves.
Hopefully they will accept my donation, and one child (or two), can have pajamas to sleep at night.
